Quantum Foundations and Gravity

Foundational questions at the interface of quantum mechanics, gravity, and spacetime

The group draws on quantum information, algebraic methods, quantum field theory, cosmology, and philosophy of physics. Current work ranges from quantum reference frames and subsystem structure to spacetime emergence and its possible signatures.

Collaboration enquiries are welcome.

FADE · Foundational Aspects of Dark Energy

Founder and scientific lead

A multi-institutional collaboration examining the conceptual and theoretical foundations of dark energy.

Modified Gravity Approaches to the Cosmological Constant Problem

Initiated and led through FADE, this multi-institutional review examines the conceptual tension between general relativity and quantum field theory behind the vacuum-energy puzzle. It maps how modified-gravity frameworks approach the problem and brought together PhD researchers, postdoctoral researchers, and faculty across institutions.
