Philosophy of science and physics at Stockholm University

I design courses for conceptual clarity, depth, and active discussion. At Stockholm University’s Department of Philosophy, I designed and delivered four course iterations—Philosophy of Science in 2023–24 and Philosophy of Physics in 2024–25—with approximately 120 enrolments in total.

The aim is not only to know what a theory says, but to ask what its concepts mean, what its evidence supports, and which assumptions make its explanations possible.

How do scientific theories explain, and what makes evidence support one account of the world rather than another? The course moves from core debates about method and confirmation to the historical and conceptual structure of scientific practice.

Eight teaching-assistant appointments at McGill University across introductory mechanics and electromagnetism, general relativity, quantum field theory, thermal and statistical physics, and majors quantum physics.

Earlier roles also include volunteer physics teaching for underserved high-school students and Calculus I tutoring.
